Donate supplies
We accept donated supplies only, never money. Here is where to bring them.
Drop-off points
Email us before you come. We are two students on a school schedule, so a message first is the difference between handing something over and leaving it on a step.

Coming soon
We are talking to a public library and to two community gardens in Union County about becoming drop-off points. None of them has confirmed yet, so we are not listing them as though you can turn up — we will add each one here the day it is agreed.
If you run a business, church, or community space in or near Monroe and would be willing to hold a box for us, we would like to hear from you.
Before you pack the car
Unopened seed packets and healthy nursery plants. Our full list is on the homepage.
Hand tools and gloves in working condition. Lightly used is fine.
Unused paper bags and clean cardboard boxes for moving bundles to the clinic.
We cannot accept cash, cheques, or transfers. Homegrown Hearts is a student-led initiative with no bank account, and donations are not tax-deductible.
No produce, no pantry items, and nothing whose packaging has been opened. Everything in a bundle is grown by us.
Bagged soil must be sealed and unopened. Used soil can carry disease into the beds.
Questions
If you are not sure whether we can use something, send a photo. That is faster for both of us than a wasted trip.
